The Groningen Poetry Stanza is proud to congratulate our member Cecile Bol for her poetry debut, Fold Me a Fishtail, published by Selcouth Station Press. Please join us on the evening of Thursday the 12th of May to celebrate her creative milestone. Cecile will read poetry from her book and of course it will be possible to buy a copy. Several other members of our poetry group will also read some of their work. A perfect opportunity to enjoy English poetry written in the Groningen area!
Poet Cecile Bol
Cecile Bol is a Dutch writer with a small family and a big edible garden in the north of the Netherlands. Several of her poems have been published in anthologies, poetry journals and literary magazines. Some have called her poems ‘whimsical’, ‘unafraid’ ‘technical enterprises’ and she’s quite happy with those descriptions. Fold Me a Fishtail is a collection of mostly confessional poetry about a long journey into, through and out of (?) the dark.
